Since I Got This Water Dispenser, I Stopped Buying Drinks All Summer

Every summer before, the busiest shelf in my fridge was always the drink shelf.

Cola, Sprite, sparkling water, bottled iced tea — always fully stocked. Come home from work, crack one open, ice cold, bubbly, first sip down — man, that's refreshing.

But after the refreshment, there's always that little voice of guilt — too much sugar isn't healthy, plastic bottles aren't great for the environment, and hauling all those boxes home is a workout in itself. That all changed when I got the Bewinch G5. This summer has been different.

Some might say, it's just sparkling water and ice cubes, is a whole water dispenser necessary?

But the G5 is different from those basic soda machines — first and foremost, it's an RO reverse osmosis water purifier.

RO reverse osmosis filtration, 0.0001 micron precision — it filters out heavy metals, bacteria, chlorine, all that stuff. The sparkling water you make, the ice cubes you freeze — they're all made with properly filtered, clean water. You can drink it with peace of mind.

And the G5 produces low-sodium, zinc-containing lightly mineralized water — not completely stripped of minerals like pure distilled water. It tastes a bit like natural mineral water — light, slightly sweet, great to drink on its own.

We have a kid at home, and we use this water for formula and drinking. The low-sodium formula is gentler on children's kidneys, which gives us peace of mind.

What I really love about the G5 is its modular design.
